The purpose of the Women’s Student Activist Collective is to empower women, transgender, and gender non-conforming people to make positive changes in society by eliminating interrelated inequalities that produce oppression, with a focus on gender and sexuality.

There is so much programming next week that I wanted to send out a reminder apart from our weekly meeting notes. Take a look:

1. WSAC's weekly meeting, mondays at 2:30pm in Coffman 202. All are invited.

2. Monday, March 1,7:00 p.m. Dhoruba Bin-Wahad(Lecture) University of Minnesota, Blegen Hall, Room 5, 269 19th Avenue South, Minneapolis.

“Sentenced to Marriage” evaluations: went well, but we need to promote our film screenings more. We hope to start cross promoting our film series with La Raza’s. Aidan is looking into this.

Need more sign-ups for tabling on Fridays: If you want to volunteer to table in Coffman for WSAC, see the sign-up sheet on our dry erase board.

Room allocation: application due this week. Grace and Andrea are on it.

Fees: initial recommendation this Wednesday 2/24. Giant thank you to all who worked on this. WSAC internal fees mtg: 2/25 6pm.
