Feministing! + meeting notes
Our Wednesday night panel with the editors of the Feministing blog was a smashing success! Vanessa told us about the ups and downs of feminist blogging; Samhita spoke about intersectionality and carving out a space within the feminist movement for women of color; Miriam challenged feminist stereotypes with her own story of coming out as a genderqueer feminist. And our own Sophia rocked it with her vision of a future feminist world! WSAC learned a lot from these excellent feminists, as did the other **200** people who came!! A big thank you goes out to our cosponsors: UPCC, Queer Women, QSCC, the Women's Center, NARAL Pro-Choice MN, MN CAFE, and the MPIRG Gender and Sexuality Task Force. And check out Vanessa's shout out to WSAC!: http://www.feministing.com/archives/020340.html
