-Finances: we will find out about the Fees Committee's ruling on 2/24

-Room Allocation: application due 2/26. We're on it.

-Thurs 2/18: First Global Women Film Series event! Co-sponsored with Amnesty. We will be viewing "Sentenced to Marriage." 6 pm, room 202. Bring friends. There will be food! If you can poster, come pick some up and hand them out!

-Monday 2/22 @ 4 p.m. meeting with Silent But Deadly to discuss Sex Ed For Everyone films. Come with questions, ideas scripts, or anything of that nature. Email WSAC if you have questions but cannot attend the meeting!

-also on 2/22: Ross Neely from the Transgender Commission will be @ the meeting to discuss our co-sponsored Genderheads discussion. Come with ideas for possible discussion topics/workshops/etc. The first Genderheads discussion will take place on 2/22. Straightlaced Film and Discussion in Appleby 103 @ 6 p.m.

-Eating Disorder Awareness Week events: Friday 2/26!
11-1: letter writing to various companies critiquing or praising their portrayal of body image.
1:30: speaker!
2:30: Yoga!
7:30: movie!
It shall be a great day! Food will be provided.

-National Call to Action for Education Rights Day is March 4th! Planning meeting on Wednesday 2/24 @ 11:30 in WSAC room. Should be pretty awesome. This is a BIG deal! Education is a right, y'all, not something that only rich people can afford!!!

-Janitor's Union: Betsy and Jess went to the planning for the Solidarity meeting that will be held on Tuesday Feb 16th at 7 pm. Sounds like a big commitment, but anyone interested is encouraged to attend!

-FEMINISTING: Wednesday March 10th in the West Bank Auditorium!!!
--Jess will have teaser poster ready by Wednesday! We should hand those out ASAP. Official poster will be ready in approx. one week and will include co- sponsors, panel members AND...
--SOPHIE will be the WSAC panelist! Woo!!!!
--Aidan will be doing stuff with Radio K to interview Feminsting Editors. Check out the awesome new female artist based radio show beginning Tues. Feb 23rd from 9 pm - 11 pm!!! 104.5 FM
--Kira will contact the Daily. Get Jim Nord in contact with Martha Polk!!!
--Sophie's looking at advertisements in the Wake and will write an editorial for the Daily with Kathryn!
-There will be a preliminary Feministing event right before the panel at 5 pm in the West Bank Auditorium. Hosted by MNCafe. Ami will give us the details by Wednesday, and we will include this on the official poster!!!

-Just a reminder that the Hip Hop Conference, Vices to Verses (brought to you by Voices Merging) is from April 9th to the 11th! Feminism and Hip Hop will be the topic on the 9th. Y'all should come! They have a website: http://vicestoverses.blogspot.com/
